NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, Nov. 8, 2012 – Tsleil-Waututh Nation is calling on Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver for informed, meaningful government-to-government consultation on Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline proposal. The Nation wrote to the Minister responsible for the National Energy Board (NEB) this week seeking a process to ensure its voice is heard and its constitutionally guaranteed rights are upheld.

NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C, Aug. 23, 2012 – Tsleil-Waututh Nation is calling on Adrian Dix and the provincial NDP to clarify that a “made in B.C.” assessment of the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline would also apply to Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline project. The Nation opposes the Kinder Morgan pipeline, which would terminate in the heart of their territory.
